Uses of Neurontin
It is used to treat epilepsy, hot flashes, neuropathic pain and restless leg syndrome. It can also be used for patients with partial seizures. This medicine is considered as the first line medications for the treatment of Neuropathic pain. It is also used for central neuropathic pain, diabetic neuropathy and post herpetic neuralgia.
Side Effects of Neurontin
If you are allergic to this medicine and develop allergic reactions then do not use this medicine. In case you develop new symptoms or the current symptoms of side effects worsen, then contact your doctor and stop using this medicine. Common symptoms of this medicine are

Contraindications of Neurontin

Pregnancy and Neurontin
It is not known if this medicine can harm an unborn child. It is advisable to talk to your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. It can pass to the baby through the breast milk of a nursing mother and may harm the child. Get proper advice from the doctor if you are breast feeding, while using this medicine.
