Allopurinol
Allopurinol treats gout and is also prescribed for persons who have kidney stones and those who have high levels of uric acid.
A xanthine oxidase inhibitor, Allopurinol has to be taken with a full glass of water. While taking the drug, drink about ten glasses of water to avoid kidney stone formation.
